Welcome to Great Miami Rowing Center
Welcome to Great Miami Rowing Center (GMRC), based in Hamilton, Ohio.
We are a nonprofit rowing club for youth and adults fostering teamwork, discipline and a love for the sport of rowing through our junior varsity, varsity and adult master’s programs.
Our teams are competitive, but we love to have fun. Our team motto “Rise Up” inspires us to always work as a team so everyone can achieve at their greatest potential.
We welcome youth and adults of all abilities from Greater Cincinnati to row with us on the beautiful Great Miami River. Our location offers us nearly 3,000 meters of calm water free of commercial traffic, with beautiful views of the city of Hamilton skyline.
GMRC is not affiliated with any school or school system. Our youth athletes represent more than 20 local schools, both public and private. GMRC alumni have gone on to compete in college and beyond, both nationally and internationally.
At Great Miami Rowing Center, you can learn to row in both sweeping and sculling boats.
